I am not going give any stars because this book hits really close to home. I saw myself as those kids. I went through similar upbringing. I feel wrong giving it a rating.
It was a good book. I loved the family dynamic of stella and her grandkids. Waycross was my favorite character definitely. I hope we get to learn more about him being able to communicate with his grandpa in later book. I broke down reading the car accident scene. I felt bad for the kids. I am glad stella knocked her out. She deserved that. She had great kids and was missing out.
