Autonomous by Annalee Newitz

It’s good, but not great.

This tale consists of a cat-and-mouse race as an IPC agent and his robot partner track down a drug pirate.

The story was engaging but the pay-off of the IPC duo finding the drug pirate was a bit of a letdown. The novel does make the reader question bigger ideas about identity and autonomy for the robots in the story.

Like I said: it’s good, but not great.

Happy reading, everybody!
