Wood You Rather? by Daphne Elliot
4.0
*ARC Review* I was provided and advanced copy in exchange for my honest review - thank you to Daphne!
This was my first dive into the Gagnon family and so whole I didn’t have the backstory of some of his siblings, Paz certainly made an impression! You can tell he cares about his family, so much so that he’d go along with a hair brained fake girlfriend idea!
Parker was sharp and witty and the banter was fantastic. The setting couldn’t have been more perfect for Paz and Parker to butt heads and heat up over time. It is a slower story (a lot of the first half is just plot -also fantastic, mind you - and just a whisper of simmering heat), but it really kicks up in the second act. Definitely loved the pace in the second half of the book!
If you’ve been a fan of the first two books Daphne’s written in this series, you’ll love this installment! But don’t fret, I think you can easily drop in without having to have read the previous books.
