The characters really grew on my over the course of the 8-issues. They really seemed to find their voice and it went from an "ok" comic to a really good one - funny, insightful, a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to picking up the next two volumes and I'll be sticking with this series. Highly enjoyable. Only complaint - lack of extras in the oversized edition...lacking extras.
