The Tao of Pooh by Benjamin Hoff
3.0
I really liked this book, and I would like to read it again.
The concept of explaining Taoism through Winnie The Pooh is very clever and whimsical and made me smile a lot throughout. It definitely shines a light on areas where I need to be more like Pooh. Clearly I have a lot of “Owl” in me as I want to read again to see if I fully got it right, but really the poem at the end sums it all up nicely.
The main reason I have it at a 3, in lieu of 4, is that I want to rewatch Winnie the Pooh and see how in character everyone is. There are some points, particularly with Eeyore and even Pooh himself, I wonder if they were “tweaked” to get a point across.
