Dance Dance Dance
by Haruki Murakami
I always think of Murakami's writing as snuggling under a big cosy duvet and this book proved me right. It's beautiful, a teeny bit philosophical and incredibly weird (!) but give it a chance, you might just surprise yourself. Its hard to say what its about, basically our lead character is searching for his lover from years ago Kiki, from their last encounter in the Dolphin Hotel, an interesting building which also hoards the Sheep Man. He finds out a lot about himself during his investigations, and takes the reader along for the ride.
