this book is really heavy-handed on the preachiness and that discolors it a little for me. the back of the book promised romance and the romance was a very very small part and was not the kind of romance i was hoping for (more of a fling than anything and damn did juliet fall in love with every lesbian she met). but, as much as it wasn't my favorite book in the world, i also recognize it wasn't written for me. i can see the person it was written for and i'm glad they have it.
