thoughts:
once again, Sherelle's pen has crafted an unforgettable Crowne storyline that captivates like no other! i was enthralled by how much of the narrative centered around Keaton—her entrepreneurial spirit and her intriguing relationship with Voshon took center stage.

the concept of building intimacy with a potential partner without laying eyes on them is first such a fresh and fascinating idea! I also loved how the women in the story had the power to dictate the terms of their relationships, flipping the modern-day script of “let the man find me” on its head.

the chemistry between Keaton and Voshon was a surprise. they went from childhood friends to rivals who can’t stand each other, yet their dynamic sparkles with tension and unexpected affection. and that bonus scene—it was hot babes 🔥🔥🔥🔥

the subplot of drama didn’t really kick in until around 75% of the way through, but when it did, it wove seamlessly into the main storyline. i almost didn't see it coming, and honestly, what’s a Crowne book without a little twist of drama? The biggest jaw-dropper was the revelation involving Dutchess and Creed—after he goes rogue with a side of chaos. 🤯

i may have mentioned this in previous reviews of the series, but if dark mafia romance with a backdrop of a crime syndicate family is your vibe, you absolutely need to dive into this series — now!
