3.75 stars. Yet another great addition to the Gaurdians of the Realms series! This was Conn and Dacia's story. It was a bit different from the first two books in the series, in that it took over half of the book for Dacia to give into Conn and accept their mating. Because of her upbringing separate from all Immortals, Dacia was skeptical and a bit prickly with Conn, but once she got to know him, she quickly grew to trust and love him. Conn was very patient and sweet with Dacia. I enjoyed watching their love develop. They were a perfect match. As always, the erotic romance, suspense and the well developed characters make for a highly addictive, sexy series! I'm looking forward to reading more!
