This book was so much FUN! I loved the banter between Harper and Dan, the emotional relationship between Dan and his mother, the discussion on anxiety and mental health was extremely relatable to me personally, and the steamy scenes were just right. This was the right romance for me at exactly the right time; I couldn't put this down and finished within 24 hours!
There was a specific moment of inner dialogue when Harper is trying to grapple with her anxiety when she basically says that she doesn't know how to live her life without feeling this way. That part hit me particularly hard; I know I've had similar conversations with myself (and in therapy) and I think a lot of people are going to see a bit of themselves in Harper.
I can't wait to read more from Mazey Eddings! I am so grateful to have received an ARC of this and to have gotten to speak with the author about her work.
