Skin Deep by Nora Roberts
2.0
I did not care for this book as I did for the first two books in the series. Several things bothered me:
There was no basis for the love story. Nothing in the first half of the book established any actual liking of one another, let alone enough affection to define as love. That whole part was very contrived.
Nothing happens. Like nothing happens. For half the book. It's just a list of everything Chantel is doing, and no action. Boring.
The only reason I felt compelled to keep reading was to see if I guessed right about who the stalker was. It really irritated me that the author tried to trick the reader into incorrectly assuming who it was. Not only was it irritating, it was very disappointing when the actual stalker was revealed.
So, not at all impressed with this one.
