This book had a fast-moving plot and interesting characters, but it was hard to like Jazz. I get a little irritated when the heroine is admired for being "authentic" when really she's just an asshole to everyone. She starts hanging out with Kingston and his friends after they embarrass her

, and she barely confronts them about it. She also constantly leads Bentley on and uses his attention to make Kingston jealous. These are high school aged characters so I excuse some shitty behavior because they're young, but I wish she had some deeper self-reflection and at least felt bad about doing it.
