Criminal by Karin Slaughter

5.0

I have been addicted to Karin Slaughter books for a while. The last couple of books I have read have been with trepidation. Can this one be as good as the rest? Will this book be the one that I am disappointed with? I can say no to all these questions.

Karin Slaughter's writing has never deteriorated and has never lost any of its quality. Criminal her new book is as good as any I have read previously. Better than many of the books I have read from other authors. The book takes us through the early years of some of the stars lives. Characteristically the old familiar characters of Sara Linton, Will Trent and Faith Mitchell are still evident. However this book also shows the character and centres round some of the smaller part characters from previous books.

This book is gruesome and enthralling in all the right quantities. The story is fast paced without losing any of the detail and skilful writing. This book is simply amazing and will keep you excited from start to finish. Several authors who write series books need to take a lesson from Karin Slaughter and keep the quality of the story as high as hers.

A must read.
