The mystery was intriguing and I loved the fallible protagonist. The story really captured me and I appreciated all the classic blues references. The book delved into some really good points about race issues. I thought it was a pretty incredible book all around for the themes it touched on and how well it was written. It was my first Attica Locke book and I look forward to more.
