My first book by Lark and my first book with a soundtrack to it - it’s a cool concept.
I read this book in a handful of days, it was a quick and easy read. There was a lot of interesting “fluff” happening through the book, and when I got to the last page I didn’t even realize it was stopping there - I was engaged and interested the whole time but I also felt like something was lacking.
She alludes to Cole and Shaw not being human - maybe a beast/spirit.. something, but never is really dove into.
I think book two will finish off the story well.
