The Hunter and the Prey

This book just reminded me of why I love L.J. Shen. Hunter and Sailor were fire and their chemistry was explosive. They were complex and real, and I loved watching them grow. Sailor’s obsession with proving herself and Hunter’s need for people to stay felt like things I’ve experienced myself. There were times where I almost gave up on Hunter, but then he would do something that pulled me right back in.
There were some moments that I didn’t think would be so emotional considering the characters it was involving. But I found myself laughing, crying, and being completely shocked.
I can’t wait to read Cillian’s story.
