Blandings Castle by P.G. Wodehouse

4.0

(Blandings stories only) I just watched the British TV adaptation “Blandings”and so thoroughly enjoyed it that I decided to try some of the stories. They are biting and silly at the same time — portraying the British aristocracy as imbeciles or lunatics (or both) — and Wodehouse’s prose is laugh-out-loud, read-chunks-to-your-partner funny. Thoroughly enjoyed these as well.
