Battle Angel Alita, Vol. 9: Angel's Ascension by Yukito Kishiro
5.0
Can we just appreciate the fact that this is actually written in 1995, and its a sci-fi of the highest level even by today's standards, everything seems to be well structured and well drawn and well written.
Here comes this guy more than 25 years ago, he makes this story about a futuristic city, that is out of reach for the masses, that live on the actual earth, who btw are all working for that city, even though they can never reach it or be part of it.
The ending is a happy ending as alita is reborn back into figure's loving arms.
Nova becomes mad which makes it a happier ending lol.
The earth is moving on they made a connection between the scrap yard and the sky city of tiphares.
what can i say i just loved it all..
