Maybe this trope just isn’t for me. Dominic has no time for Ale. He does not prioritize Ale…until he doesn’t have her anymore, and then suddenly he can re-organize his life, only so he can continue to call her his? I don’t think so. But the writing was nice, and the plot kept me invested until the “climax.”

Was he supposed to buy the bank or not? Roman told him not to buy the bank and now Roman’s on the run? Did the client want the bank bought or not?

I don’t understand but OK.
