Anne's House of Dreams
by L.M. Montgomery
'Anne was always romantic, you know,' said Marilla apologetically.
'Well, married life will most likely cure her of that,' Mrs Rachel responded comfortingly.
.
There really isn't enough Mrs Rachel in Anne's House of Dreams!
.
Anne and Gilbert finally get married and move to Four Winds Harbour where Gilbert is to be the new doctor. If Green Gables lacked anything it was the seaside and an adorable old lighthouse keeper!
.
This book is a lot more melancholy than any of the others and while there is, as always, a happy ending it's a bittersweet one.
