wow. I'm floored. Amazing amazing. so disjointed in time yet moves so fluidly. watching all her loved ones grow up was so fulfilling. An absolutely satisfying read. I laughed out loud at, "sounds like Brave New World." "I don't know what that is. I don't read fiction." and then immediately started sobbing when she didn't get her scholarship. Her desire for love and her desire for life and knowing that she had to choose this because of her wise mother. The insanely beautiful writing inspired me so much. I haven't felt so connected to a story since I went on my Shirley Jackson binge.
