I ended up deciding to DNF this book about 100 pages in. While it's good, it wasn't the right fit for me. Way too creepy and it had a vibe that I couldn't quite pinpoint that wasn't right for me. Lately I've been making it a point to only read books that I absolutely love. Some people agree with this choice and others probably have a lot of negative things to say. But it's what works for me right now. I will say that I've never read a Lisa Jackson book before, so I can't comment on if this book is similar to the rest of hers or not.
The story was for sure creepy and eerie and if that's your vibe and you also are intrigued by the summary, then go for it. You will probably enjoy it. But unfortunately not for me.
