I came to this with limited knowledge of Greek mythology, so I am curious how other tellings compare to this feminist take that makes Medusa and her Gorgon sisters the most sympathetic characters in the story. As with A Thousand Ships, a big take-away is that what was celebrated as heroic masculinity was, in fact, horrible cruelty.
