I found this book quite a practical and useful guide for exactly how and why meditation and enlightenment work.
There's some great content on separating out each aspect of experience and consciousness. With that being said I found the book lost some focus and became a little more esoteric as it went on, perhaps I was not enlightened enough to understand it.
The author describes himself as a rationalist and I enjoyed that there was less "Woo" content and more practical guiding and actually useful advice, certainly worth reading if you have an interest in meditation or enlightenment!
