I like following the point of view of a girl in need of power. We see her becoming more and more poweful and respected. We see her follow her anger and her desire of power. The only thing I liked less was the fact she she is to stubborn to listen to real good advice. it was obvious that following the path of the god was a bad idea, but she dit it anyway. Now all we have to do is wait and see her regret her new deadly powers
Graphic: Addiction, Body horror, Death, Drug abuse, Drug use, Genocide, Gore, Hate crime, Rape, Self harm, Torture, Violence, Blood, Murder, Fire/Fire injury
Moderate: Addiction, Child death, Eating disorder, Hate crime, Misogyny, Racial slurs, Racism, Slavery, Vomit, Trafficking
Minor: Child abuse, Domestic abuse, Suicidal thoughts, Excrement, Vomit, Kidnapping
The book is good, but there is a lot of TW. Be careful. The war scenes (including rape, torture, fights, kidnappings, etc.) are fully described. Lot of blood, bones and organs. Lot of trauma. Be aware.
