Boy2girl by Terence Blacker
0.5
medium-paced

This book could have sent a message. Sam dressing as a girl and feeling so utterly comfortably with it made me think he was trans. But no! He had to return to being a boy so that he could make his soon-to-be-girlfriend and his new family proud by not being gay.
The writing style in this book is very direct. As such, I'm very disappointed that there were so little hints of acceptance towards the idea that Sam could be trans. Acceptance by the Burton family could have been made a lot more obvious.
0.5 stars for the microscopic hints mentioned.
Characters and story were mediocre.
