Oh boy were my expectations for this book so wrong. I was expecting a story of a woman adapting to being in the body of the mammoth and twists and reveals about what's really going on. Instead, this is a very slow revenge story about poaching. And it's definitely a book that put its themes before the story. Characters exist just to show the evils of poaching and the heroics of conservation. This book was only 4 hours long, and it took me nearly a week to read. I was just bored.
