The cliffhangers in this series give me palpable rage. Not a criticism against GD, but my own impatience 🤣
Oh sweet Sebastian, my favourite hopeless romantic. Linnea, my sweet angel. Adam, you stubborn and broken man. The three of you need to get it together ðŸ˜
Savannah, who? In the acknowledgements at the end of this book, GD had been questioning whether to switch the FMC, and I have NEVER been more glad to see it done. Linnea was such a breath of fresh air injected into the series. One thing that made me potentially reluctant to continue the series (although I REALLY needed closure) was the prospect of more Savannah, so I welcomed this with arms wide open.
I loved seeing Adam's character development as he comes to terms with who he is and who he loves. It was really heartwarming to see his progress from book 1. I didn't even mind the time jump of a DECADE from the first book. It felt right. It felt necessary not to just pick up where we left off.
Sebastian just hasn't changed and I love that, he just craves love in any form. Which also kinda breaks my heart for him, too. He's just willing to take whatever he can from the people he loves even though he deserves the world. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜«
I love the three of them together and I need Book 3 like I need oxygen.
