Did not finish book. Stopped at 61%.

It just suddenly hit me that I don't want to keep forcing myself to read this because it's not my cup of tea. It's all the things I don't like about middlegrade books (and I don't know if this is middlegrade but it feels like it) : all action, too many characters, too whimsical and I feel no connection with anything.
