For a Good Time, Call... by Jessica Gadziala

5.0

This is one of the best and most difficult book I ever read. It’s on my top three of the best books I ever read.
This is a very very very dark romance, with very descriptive abusive scenes. It’s not for everybody, so definitely check TW!
That being said this book is a masterpiece.
The author did an amazing job exploring the story of abuse, and how people cope with extreme abuse.
And when I say extreme, it really is extreme, her father was a crazy religious fanatic, and that’s all I’m gonna say about it.
But Fee is a strong as fuck woman, and she manages to escape, and never looks back! And the things she does to cope with it, are heartbreaking. She has a completely broken soul, but still manages to keep a smile on her face and find joy in her sex operating phone business.
This book is equally parts soul draining, and soul filling. Because when her sexy mysterious neighbor moved next door - Hunter - running away from is own problems. Their souls call to each other.
Hunter is like a golden retriever MMC, who helps Fee put her pieces back together so gently. It was perfect really!
This book will forever be attached in my soul
