I really loved this book. So much, in fact, that I finished it in one day. The premise was adorable, childhood penpals who never stopped writing until one day as adults the letters do stop, only to start up again two years later. I thought that the characters were fun and the build-up to them finally meeting was so incredibly exciting. I was quite literally shaking and giggling in my

I saw a lot of lower rating reviews with spoilers but didn't read them until after I finished the book. I'm not going to reveal anything (although the big plot twist is pretty obvious), but I will say this: Yeah, if this happened in real life, it would be a *little* creepy and a tad far-fetched. But like, isn't that the point? Most rom-com, especially enemies-to-lovers, are far-fetched! I think some people read this book and took it WAY too seriously. I adored Luca, and while he probably should have revealed himself sooner, I wasn't mad about it either, especially since you had good POV and knew how bad he felt about it. All in all, this was a great book AND it had a dog AND people need to stop taking themselves so seriously.
