A love story told in two timelines. In the mid 1950s Mercy Wells is a Hollywood up and coming actress who escapes to Martha’s Vineyard and gets tangled up in a family drama and mystery.  Years later, following her death, her granddaughter, Kit, also travels to Martha’s Vineyard to uncover the secrets of her grandmother’s “lost summer”.  The story dragged on in the middle.  Ease to set aside; powered through.
