I want to re-read this book honestly, as I feel like so much happened that I didn't fully grasp, but otherwise this was my first book by R.F. Kuang and I loved the writing style so much. It was so nice to have that feeling of being immersed in a new world and while the read was pretty heavy for me, it was very enjoyable.
