I absolutely loved Rachel’s last book The Magic of Lemon Drop Pie and similar to that one Recipe For A Charmed Life delivers a heartfelt story with a pinch of magical realism, and a dash of romance.
The author transports you to the hustle and bustle BTS of Parisian kitchens then across the pond to the quiet area of the PNW, the San Juan Islands…where the main character Georgia grapples with identity, and the complexity of family and indulges in all the islands have to offer.
A tender mother and daughter story… with mouth watering food descriptions, a vivid setting, and the appreciation for the local resources around you. The wanderlust was real!
