I liked this book quite a bit, but it was for sure dense. If you have religious trauma it may be a hard read which I didn’t realize until I was already dedicated to reading it.
I wouldn’t say I was scared at any point, but the events that occurred in this story are horrific and seeing how they affected the characters was interesting with how they proceeded with their life after. I was hoping there would be character development for Angela, but she still remains a mystery for the most part.
If you like creepier and darker stories this can be for you if not then you can skip past it. I still enjoyed this book
