I was given an ARC to review.
This book is so beautifully illustrated. There are three fairy tales, written in English and Romanian. In contrast to most fairy tales, there is no villain, no hurried marriage or romance, and instead are gentle stories about the importance of being yourself, resisting societal pressure, setting boundaries and the strength of love for friends.
The characters all have profiles in the back, which are fun.
The stories are explicitly LGBT+, with non-binary dragons, and leaning towards aromanticism.
I look forward to being able to gift this beautiful story collection to friends and family!
