So we follow Brienna in the after math of the war that took place to put the queen back on the throne, I really liked this book I liked it a tad bit more than the first due to there was some Romance between Cartier as Brienna. And I love seeing them together. I also love that the Queen, Brienna and Cartier doesn’t want the children to pay for the former king mistakes. But the city is asking for justice and are also blaming the children for there behavior. So they are trying to convince the city that the children are victims as well and i love the part of the painting with the ribbon in order to marry Brienna a ribbon is hidden in a painting and has to find.
