Mistle Text: 'Twas the Text Before Christmas ... by Melanie Summers, Melanie Summers, Whitney Dineen, Whitney Dineen

4.0

"I promise I'm going to prove myself to you, Holly. If it's the last thing I do, I'm going to show you that I'm worth the risk."

This book was quite hilarious! It was sort of a mashup of Hallmark Christmas, Annie, A Miracle on 34th Street and Pretty Woman for me. I know that's a mouthful lol. Archie, Holly, and little Faith have really great chemistry together and they absolutely warmed my heart. Faith is five going on sixteen. This girl is so cheeky and had me in stitches. And while I loved the attraction between Archie and Holly, I did wish there was more buildup in the romance, but overall this was a cute, laugh out loud, lighthearted Christmas read!

Read if you like:
- dual pov
- grumpy + sunshine
- fake relationship (family?)
- rags to riches
- aunt/niece guardian dynamics
- heroines with hearts of gold
- Christmas in NYC
- hilarious grand gesture
-🌶 a couple kisses
