This is one of the best books I think I could’ve started 2025 with. The central theme of the importance of the small, subunit of our time throughout life habits can compound into the systems we develop to navigate in. the world amongst our highs and lows of life is a truly remarkable perspective to highlight. The idea that habits that form over the course of our lives impacting almost every facet of living is something I believe people generally understand, but the short stories and anecdotes the author uses truly helps the reader understand how these ideas can be applicable in a real world scenario. I think there’s a bit an irony in my enjoyment of this book to the overall message: a book centered around steps around building habits, on a scale that should be consistently followed to the best of one’s ability over the course of one’s life, and the writing was so enjoyable and intriguing I had lost track of time reading through each of the chapters in satisfaction. I think it was a perfect first read of 2025 and I would recommend this book to anyone who wants a fresh perspective on how to manage life.
