love him. love everything about him. i was soooo excited to finally see more of him and get in his head. what a great character.
valek is such a fuckwad. i didn’t super love him in the first book but he had some redeeming qualities. this one though? idk man. nothing has endeared me to him. even whiskey is better, and his whole personality is being fat and stupid (which is sincerely lame character development). and thane barely had anything new happen with him? and plague??? my fave? i feel like we didn’t learn a whole lot about him until the very end for like 2.5 paragraphs.
idk what it is about this series (probably the pacing of it all) but there is very little character development aside from smut and a really fun plot. i’m hoping book 3 is even better since wraith is on the cover <3
