Dip Out by Eve Holmes
5.0
Trevor • Arthur… <3.
….
“I’m his Firefox. And he’s my Guide.”
.
“Out here, in nature, is where I see him most clearly. Where he’s completely in sync with the world around him in a way no one could ever understand. He views life through a lens that reveals what most of us miss, and through his photos, we get a glimpse into his beautiful world.”

I remember the first time Eve started feeding us little snippets from this book, it felt like being at a tasting and after reading the whole book, I felt like I had one of my favorite home made meals cooked by my momma, from heart. Because this book is the authors heart.
This tale is everything that’s good in this world. Things we forget about, people I would love to surround myself with, nature and the quiet we take for granted. The beauty and colors of simple things. Simple meaningful touches, important words, clearness and understanding. Moments.
I thought I knew there’s all to know about love and acceptance but Arthur alongside Trevor taught me many lessons I am taking with ♾️.
If there’s one book you will pick up this year, let it be this one. With a brave heart, I believe in myself, I can, I don’t want to dip out…

Birdy - Beating Heart
….
“A bird with a broken wing just came in…” // “If she doesn’t make it, I’ll feel like I let them both down.” // “There’s a quiet intensity about him, and the way he seems so attuned to the natural world keeps drawing me in.” // “It’s more than ok.” // “But right now, I can look at him. Really look at him, without the worry of getting everything wrong.” // “When you miss seeing a bird you were hoping to find.” // “My life… it may be chaotic at times. But that chaos doesn’t mean anything without the quiet to balance it out. I need what you bring to my world.” // “You see the world differently, and you notice things no one else does. The way the light hits the water, the way the wind rustles the trees… and you make me see it too.” // “I like holding your hand.” // “Stay wild…” / “He clicks the shutter, and when he lowers the camera, he smiles. “Perfect.” But his eyes aren’t on the screen… they’re on me.” // “I don’t think we ever dip out…” // “We’ll be ok.” // “Every current, every gust of wind, and every scar etched into the landscape of our lives only makes us stronger.” // “…a picture of everything that’s right in my world.” …
