I Am Malala: The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban by Malala Yousafzai
2.0
I wanted to like this book, I really did. I think Malala is amazing, her story is amazing, and I've loved her interviews and everything I've read about her before reading this book. This book read as an unfinished, rushed, half book/ weird thing that just wanted to get out there as quickly as possible. It didn't feel very authentic to the personality of Malala that I've seen in taped interviews. Basically, what I hope happens as Malala grows up that next time she writes a book all on her own and can show off her true side and what she's learned since this happened. Now, that's a book I want to read.
