Okay this is probably my new favorite romance book! I loved everything about this book. I feel like there’s going to be something relatable for most people in this one because it tackles so many issues.

LGBTQ+ rep:  this is a m/m romance, but there are so many sexualities discussed here. There are characters from all over the spectrum. Ones that are out, ones that aren’t, and ones that are questioning. I thought it was all handled amazingly well.

Mental health rep: so many of the characters are struggling with things like OCD, depression, anxiety, etc and the author did a perfect job of capturing how it feels. I absolutely loved that Dev and Charlie’s relationship first started over sharing their own insecurities and fears. They were so sweet and patient with each other. This book normalized therapy too, which I really appreciated.

Reality TV: I loathe reality tv. I don’t watch any of it. But apparently I like reading about it behind the scenes!

I cannot even put into words how much I enjoyed this swoon worthy, romantic book. In the acknowledgments, the author tells says that through writing this book, she was able to get therapy for her own mental health that she’d been ignoring and to come out as gay herself. I think that makes me love it even more. I can’t wait to read more books by Alison Cochrun!
