Follow Me Back by A.L. Jackson

4.0

Hope and Kale are both in rough spots because their past is dragging them down. They don’t want to be together but they can’t deny the attraction. This was a story that had me guessing right up to the very end. Kale was too stubborn at times and I wanted to shake him and tell him to man up. Hope. I loved Hope and how selfless she was throughout this story. I also liked catching up with the other characters and I can’t wait for Ollie’s story!

Jackson has such a way with words and everytime i read a book by this author it’s a new experience. I do have to be honest and say I did find that some parts dragged but overall the pacing was good. The last few chapters had my heart in my throat and when all the secrets and revelations were unfolded I was left stunned. Reading this book gave me all the old school vibes when I read “When We Collide” by this author. Well done, Jackson.
