The Winter of the Witch by Katherine Arden

A really great conclusion to the trilogy. I liked how Vasya's relationship with Morozko developed in this book. It was fun to see Vasya's path toward power, mythology, and long life, while meanwhile the immortal demons she teams up with become a bit more human-like. I also didn't realize the final battle was based on a real historical battle. I appreciated the author's notes about the history and mythology she drew from and where she took creative liberties. Lastly,
Solovey's death was absolutely heartbreaking but I had a feeling he wasn't gone forever.
