What an absolute joy this story was! From the very beginning, I was hooked on the grumpy duo of Tanner and Louise, and as secrets unfolded, I couldn’t put their story down!
This book was such a fun adventure from the moment it began. I loved the way the book was laid out - intertwining the police interviews and phone calls others were having with Tanner and Louise’s road trip. I thought it was so well done. And there was something new you learned about these aloof characters around every turn. Without spoiling anything, one of the most fun twists of the book was made even more fun by listening to the audio. IYKYK!
And the ending was also so wonderful. I loved the way everything was wrapped up nicely, and felt so right for all of the characters. It was both heartwarming and heartbreaking. Overall, this book was was a fun road trip story with constant hi-jinx; The Mostly True Story of Tanner and Louise was a blast to read.
