The Remedy by Adam Haslett
1.0
This was written in a very intriguing way, and I have to give Haslett credit for that, but it went nowhere. Rather, it went somewhere unacceptable. I'm not one for trigger warnings. I think people read to feel, and warning them away from certain subjects thwarts those feelings, BUT, and there is always a but, this should have a warning.
Haslett posits that those in never ending pain and misery are simply looking for permission to end their lives. Not only is this an ignorant ideal, but it is a dangerous one.
