2.5

This is barely a 2.5. I’m really surprised this book has such a high rating, because it’s melodramatic and full of cliches and unrealistic coincidences. Basically reads like a YA kdrama and the ending is REALLY bad. The positives are the sentence-level writing is decent and it’s a quick, kinda fast-paced read so I never really felt the urge to stop (but I also didn’t feel joy reading it). I think there was potential here for something good, but it ultimately fell flat.
