I'm Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy

emotional funny hopeful medium-paced

5.0

It’s so weird reading the behind the scenes of events you vaguely remember but didn’t really KNOW. McCurdy’s memoir is fully open (sometimes to a degree that makes me embarrassed, but that’s not her fault) and honest about a whirlwind of a life that developed anxiety and OCD and eating disorders stemming from one toxic relationship. Relatable, but sometimes really tough to read.
