This book was so good. The romance is a slooooow burn packed with tension, pining and banter. The fantasy is where this shined for me. The world-building was vivid without being overwhelming and I loved the lore of the kingdoms, mythology and monsters.
Yes, a few plot points were a bit predictable, but there were still plenty of twists that caught me off guard. The character work and the mysteries all came together in such a satisfying way, but a lot was left unanswered so I need book two immediately.
